What does ‘Payouts Disabled’ mean?

If the “View Payments” button in your Payments tab says “Payouts Disabled” in brackets, this means that you have not fully completed the onboarding information required by Stripe to complete your account setup.
In our experience, this issue can arise because the Stripe onboarding sequence does not always display the identify verification screens that you need to complete upon creating your Stripe account. This means that there is additional information required by Stripe to allow your account full functionality.
Therefore, please wait about 10 minutes (or a little longer) since you first created the account, and then click the “View Payments” button again. You should be directed to the correct Stripe screens to finish your onboarding, and the “Payouts Disabled” issue should then be resolved.
You are still able to use Steppr and run voucher campaigns while payouts are disabled, since customers are able to pay you, but you are unable to transfer your balance out of your Stripe account.
If the issue persists, please contact Stripe support. You may also ask for our help, although this will probably be limited to directing you to Stripe support or checking if we can see that an additional Stripe account with your company name has requested to connect.
