This is an optional feature in your settings that lets customers request custom vouchers (choosing their own voucher face value and discount). You can turn it on/off at any time.

How it works:

  • A customer submits a request with their chosen face value/discount.

  • If the request is within your auto-accept ranges, it’s accepted and the voucher is created/paid for immediately.

  • If it’s outside those ranges, you’ll get an email and can approve/deny from your Payments tab.

  • If no action is taken within 24 hours, the request expires.

Controls (Basic Information → ‘Extra Customer Choice’):

  • Turn the feature on/off at any time.

  • Set daily limits and auto-accept ranges (voucher value and discount; default discount is 50%).

  • Requests outside your ranges require manual approval.

  • You’ll receive email notifications and reminders for pending requests.

Fees:

  • Custom vouchers carry a commission (e.g. 10%) on the voucher payment.

  • Commission is refunded automatically if the voucher itself is refunded.

Customer experience:

  • If accepted, the voucher is created and paid for by customer immediately.

  • If denied (or no action in 24h), the customer is notified their request wasn’t accepted.

  • Custom vouchers are one-off only and don’t unlock further discounts.
